The "original" is available in all widths and all lengths. The Commander has been serving the grain hauling industry for many years. Most notably, the Commander is the first double wall aluminum grain trailer available with a sloped front and rear, and understandably since it a Wilson, the trailer possesses all the superior quality elements Wilson is known for.
It is standard with the original RollerTrap™ strap grain trap – The industry's easiest to use and trouble-free trap opener since 1996.
Features may include:
FRONT END- The Wilson Commander is the first double wall aluminum grain trailer with a sloped front and rear. It is available in all lengths, both widths and all suspension configurations.
- Open king pin design transfers weight to the side rails and is a proven design since 1986. Unobstructed access to the nose area allows for much easier cleaning and maintenance.
- Larger diameter rivets with larger heads generate greater, more desirable shear strength and greater side strength.
- The easiest trap opener to use and maintain in the industry with virtually no obstructions below the trap frame for “true” ground clearance.
- Positioned between each set of side posts, the vent ports along the lower rail allow for free air movement between the inner and outer walls. This air flow regulates the temperature and humidity differences to help reduce sweating, which can cause material to stick to the inside.
- Wilson’s two-piece hoppers are standard with 2 stiffeners per side plus corner bracing for a stronger hopper. The stiffeners also serve as handy knock rails for sticky product.
- The height of Wilson’s front and rear channels are key to the design of providing more strength where it is needed.
